… when I’m interviewing a cardiologist working with cutting-edge, life-saving techniques, about his work to say “I understand” and explain that I am familiar with the terminology because I watch too many doctor shows?
I just can’t help it – after years and years of E.R., House, Grey’s Anatomy and any other medical show I can get my hands on (cut my teeth on M*A*S*H a million years ago!), I don’t need to know how to spell “ventricular tachycardia” or “atrial fibrillation.” I simply don’t.
(How does TV help me learn to spell these things? I watch it with the captions on!)
That's unschooling!!! :D
