I have not discussed Jesus with the kiddos yet, so I really appreciated reading your explanation. Honestly, I feel like the only Jewish homeschooling Charlotte Mason mom in the world sometimes. It is such a breath of fresh air to read your blog!Mollynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21153604.post-43889220422625287522013-03-21T01:00:29.746-04:002013-03-21T01:00:29.746-04:00very important post, thanks

I never use the term "new testament" because that means that theirs is the updated version from G-d.<br />And yes, historically, Christianity developed after Jesus's death. He, as a Jew, may not have been in favor of it.Batyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09402874037427009327noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21153604.post-34427953570783085612013-03-20T10:10:36.689-04:002013-03-20T10:10:36.689-04:00I can relate to that because we've had to expl...I can relate to that because we've had to explain our christian relative's beliefs to our kids and how they're different from our own. We're reading the same history book and haven't reached that part yet. I like how you explained it to your kids. I figured we'd discuss it and treat that part like chapters on other religions/mythology. I have read reviews and apparently that does bother some Christians a lot, that their beliefs system is relegated to such a short passage. Kathleennoreply@blogger.com
